What is Blooming Business?

Blooming Business is an online, 15 day course that aims to educate high school students on the major business fields: marketing, finance, management, hospitality, and entrepreneurship. However, Blooming Business doesn’t stop at just simply explaining what each field is, but also exposes the user to the personal and real-world elements of each one that will help them determine if their preferences, skills, and personality align with the area of business at hand. Beyond the 5 basic fields, Blooming Business also includes 4 professional preparedness lessons: interview preparation, networking, resume building, and business attire. Despite being fully digital, this course is highly interactive, as each lesson consists of a slide presentation with feedback surveys, games, exit tickets, and quizzes to keep the students engaged throughout the program. The students are then tasked with evaluating their growth and understanding through 2 forms, a pre/post test and a pre/post survey.
